Critical Markets The leadership of PDA has experience applying these services in a few areas of expertise:
Civic and Recreation
Public Safety - Police/Fire/Courts/Corrections

Disaster Management/Mitigation Consulting
K-12 Education - Traditions and Challenges PDA's founder, Eric Davis, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, has decades of experience designing and managing both traditional public school and charter school projects, including new schools, additions, renovations and adaptive re-use.
Civic and Recreation PDA brings experience designing Village Hall, Public Administration and Park/Fieldhouse projects. These most visible civic structures provide image and continuity in our communities.
Public Safety - Police/Fire/Courts/Corrections Mr. Davis, the firm's lead architect, has worked with police and fire departments, municipal and county courts, and jail and corrections clients, working closely with chiefs, sheriffs and judges on the planning and design of prototype police stations, courts and administrative hearings facilities, and jail and prison projects.
Transportation and Infrastructure Recent Federal and other initiatives have brought greater focus on projects for the various infrastructure systems that connect our metro regions. Our experience includes architectural planning and design services for rail transit stations, bus operations and maintenance facilities, public works centers and buildings for water and wastewater plants and systems.
Disaster Management Services Unique compared to most architectural firms, PDA has specialized experience in providing technical services for developing FEMA-compliant damage assessments and hazard mitigation plans for public facilities affected by natural disasters. We bring NIMS-trained expertise, particularly for Critical Infrastructure/Key Resources projects that may warrant specialized treatments to obtain Federal or State funding for rehabilitation or replacement.
